The college provides accommodation for 120 boarders in the women’s hostel of the college. A new hostel with a capacity of 100 seats in under construction.
The hostel of the college situated in the college campus which provides accommodation for 120 boarders. Application for admission to the hostel duly filled-in and signed by the candidate and her parents/Guardians is submitted to the principal along with her application for admission in the college, in case of fresh candidates. An old boarder has to submit an application to the principal through the hostel superintendent, for consideration of her continuance/ readmission for the next academic year. Top priority is given to the safety and security of the boarders residing in the hostel.
The hostel is governed by the following rules
1.Selection for admission to the Women’s Hostel is made, giving top priority to merit as well as distance.
2.Admission to the hostel is strictly provisional and is valid for one academic session.
3.After admission/ readmission the allotment of rooms is made by the hostel superintendent. Any claim for allotment of seat in specific room is not entertained.
4.The Superintendent maintains an Admission Register of the boarders.
5.Boarders are not allowed to leave the hostel in the company of any outsider other than their parents and recognized guardians whose photographs, full addresses and telephone Nos. are already submitted with the Hostel Supdt.
6.The parents/ guardians have to request the Superintendent/ Asst. Superintendent to take their wards from the hostel. They have to put their signature on a register maintained for the boarders in the hostel.
7.Boarders are not allowed to leave the Hostel under any circumstances without the consent of their parents/ guardians
8.Ordinarily they are not allowed to meet anybody on the working days.
9.The visiting hour is from 10 a.m to 5 p.m on every Sunday. Violation of this is treated as an offence which is strictly viewed.
10.The parents of the boarders living at distant places have to submit the name of recognized guardian of their ward, a pass-port size photograph of the recognized guardian has to be furnished alongwith the name.
11.The boarders have to place orders for their needs to the ward boy. Oridinarily, they are not allowed to go to market. However, under special circumstances boarders can go to local market with the matron/Asst. Supdt. only.
12.The parents/ recognized guidiasns are required to co-operate with the hostel administration.
13.Boarders must observe discipline in the best interest of the hostel
14.Boarders are not allowed to take part in any meeting or association outside the college without the permission of the principal.
15.The Superintendent is responsible for maintenance of order and discipline in the hostel and has power to punish the boarders for breach of discipline.
16.No boarder is allowed to use mobile phone without the knowledge and permission of the Hostel supdt.
17.Ragging is strictly prohibited. The perpetrators of ragging are liable to punishment leading to expulsion/ Legal criminal proceedings.
18.The principal is the final authority in respect of admission of the boarders to the hostel and reserves the right of changing any rules as she/he deems fit.
